 Fun with Knowledge

Sree Saraswathy Vidyalayam conducted an excursion of 2017-18 with great success. Students form std IX to XII participated in it.  The destinations were Wayanad, Ooty and Mysore.  The trip was mixed with knowledge an fun.

          








      Our first destination was Wayanad.  The important places in Wayanad were Edakkal caves, Meenmutti waterfalls, Banasura sagar Dam and Thirunelli Temple. 

 Those places were very attractive and several ancient things we studied from there.  Our next destination was Ooty and Kodaikanal.  The important places we visited were boat club, Botanical garden, Bench mark tea and Chocolate industry. 

 The most beautiful scenery of Ooty was its tea plantations. We also got an opportunity for shopping.  Our last destination was Mysore.  Our last destination was Mysore.  The important spots that visited were Chamundi hill, Mysore place and Brindavan Gardens.  The Mysore palace was full of decoration and Brindavan garder had water dance and fountains.

Related with Dhanu masa thiruvathira Sree Saraswathy vidyalayam honoured the first Guru “Amma”.  Dr. Sumathi Haridas and Mrs Srelekha were the chief guests of the ceremony and they shared  valuable suggestions. 

 

 The atmosphere filled with blessed children and their delighted mothers.

Grand Parents Day

PAITHRIKAM – 2017-18

“Grand Parents Day “

On 16^th December 2017 our school “Sree Saraswathy Vidyalayam” conducted a grand parents day very successfully.  Our chief guest was our school patron Sri S. Ramachandran Nair, our honourable Principal Sri. A.S. Hrishikesh , Vice Principal Smt. Sheeja R. presented a valuable speech about grandparents. 

 

We give special consideration to the senior grandmother and grandfather.  On the basis of this occasion our music teacher Mrs. Divyasree M.P. sung a beautiful song about grandparents.  Some students of XII talked about the importance of their grandparents.

State Kalamela 2017-18

SARGOLASAV 2017

The blessed students of Sree Saraswathy Vidyalayam participated in the State Kalamela Sargolsave 2017 on 28, 29, 30 December 2017 at Sree Saraswathy Vidyamandir Karikode, Kottayam.  The Chief guests were Actor Sri. Ramesh Pisharadi, Film Actress Kumari Bhama.  More than that of a competition there were an atmosphere of a union of a big family.  

 Talented students participated in different items like Drama, Tiruvathira, Mime, Light music, elocution. 

 Hridya D.R. got 1^st prize in Ganalapanam. 

 Mime got 3^rd prize, English Drama got 3^rd prize, Group song got 2^nd position. 

 Most of the students got A grade.  It was a program of enlightenment.
