School Visit

It is a happiest moment for us!.  As a part of “School Unit” Mr. Ajay kumar Avasthi visited our school and observed our day to day activities.   

We got a golden opportunity to hosting such an eminent personality, who retired recently as a principal from MCL Saraswathy Bala Mandir, HariNagar, New Delhi and won best Teachers Award from President of India in 2015. Now he is working as a Convenor Of  VBIERT ( Vidhya  Bharathi Institute of Education Research and Training). 

He was introduced by the vice principal   Smt. Sheeja R. On this occasion he explained about Vidya Bharathi prayer and its meaning for inculcating good values in this life. 

School principal Sri.Hrishikesh sir delivered the vote of thanks. School patron Sri. S Ramachandran Nair, Bharatheeya Vidya Nikethan state member Sri. Mohankumar,  school  secretary Sri. Mukundan were also presented in this session.  

 

 Sri Ajaykumarji Avasthi observed our prayer section, yoga class,  sisuvatika activities , work education activities etc. He appreciated our prayer section and assembly arrangement. 

He said that he never seen this type of prayer section at anywhere.  He interacted with higher secondary students also.

 We arranged teachers meeting and old students meeting in the evening time.  

Arts Club

Arts Club Inauguration

The beauty of nature lies in art. It takes us to the aesthetic level. The students of Sree Saraswathy Vidyalayam is blessed with various talents.  In order to bring out such skills of children we inaugurated the Arts Club on 17-07-2017. 

 Kalamandalam Parvathy Ashok inaugurated the club with her graceful performance.  Her expressions left an everlasting daze.  The event was blessed with the presence of school patron Sri. S. Ramachandran Nair and Principal Sri. A.S. Hrishikesh.

S.S. club

This academic year’s Social Science club is formed on 10/07/2017.  The official inauguration was done by Smt. Rajeswari teacher Rtd H.M. of Govt. L.P.S Machel.  On this occassion S.S. club convenor declared the date of school parliament election.  Principal Sri. A.S. Hrishikesh sir announced the rules and regulations of election.

S.S. club decided to celebrate world population day. 

 The club arranged an exhibition in the auditorium.  Also conducted essay writing competition.  

 They placed a ‘Samasya Petti’ in the auditorium.  Students are allowed to put their doubts regarding population day into the box. From the box they got so many doubts.  In the next assembly we read the questions and clear the doubts.

The school Parliament election held on 11-07-2017. There were 18 candidates compete for head boy and head girl.   

 

The candidates canvassed the voters.  The election procedures came to an end with amazing results.  Ananthukrishnan S S of XII scored 87 votes and selected as the head boy. Jagan M.S of IX B is selected as assistant head boy who scored 69 votes.  Surabhi S. Nair of XB won 77 votes and selected as the head girl and B.A. Gopika of XA won 75 votes and selected as the assistant head girl.

The selected members take their  pledge on 13-07-2017. Principal announced all the candidates  have certain position in the school parliament for the smooth functioning of the academic section.

Gurupooja

 

 In commemorate the great guru “Veda Vyasa” Sree Saraswathy Vidyalayam celebrated Vyasa  poornima on 10/07/2017 with its grandeur. 

The celebration filled with the blessings of guru like Sri. S Ramachandran Nair (Rtd. Teacher, DVMNHSS, Maranalloor ) 

Prof. Jayakumar (Rtd. Scientist) Smt.Rajeswari (Rtd. HM, Govt L.P.S. Machel ) Sri. A.S. Hrishikesh (Rtd DEO and present principal Sree Saraswathy Vidyalayam) our children were blessed with their teachers.

 The program conducted on traditionally. The whole school expressed their honour to the great guru “Vyasa”. Vice Principal Smt. Sheeja R explained the importance of vyasa poornima.
