A Book is a gift you can open again and again

In memory of P.N Panicker, Sree Saraswathy Vidyalayam celebrated “Reading Week” with various activites.  The ceremony was inaugurated by Sri. Raj Mohan Koovalassery.  He highlighted the importance of reading and cited examples through poems.  Also added useful knowledge about great poets and spend his valuable time with the members of literary club. 

An exhibition was arranged by the members of literary club; and there exhibited a sound collection of books, charts etc. 

Our principal Sri . A.S. Hrishikesh sir told about the literary thinking through a famous saying “Onnum Onnum cherannal Immini Balya Onnu” of Vaikkom Muhammed Basheer. 

Students made wonderful talk about great poets novelist, short story writers etc.  

Representatives of each class prepared and presented  their “Aswadana kuruppu”  in assembly. The literary club has decided to prepare a newspaper based on the activities of Reading Week.
